Proposal templates: consultancies

Three ready-to-adapt proposals: diagnosis sprint, implementation project and monthly advisory.

Your product is scope in writing. These templates keep scope, phases and money in the proposal itself, so a change of scope becomes a new version of the same proposal, and the signature closes the deal.

Diagnosis sprint

Suggested introduction: "In [N] weeks, [company] gets an honest picture of the problem and a prioritized plan: what to do, in what order, and why."

  • Interviews with key people ([N] conversations).
  • Data and process analysis.
  • Diagnosis report with a prioritized plan.
  • Presentation and decision meeting.

Suggested terms: full payment on acceptance. Start within [N] days, subject to interview scheduling. The report belongs to [company].

Implementation project

Suggested introduction: "The plan becomes execution: phases with a defined delivery, a review at the end of each one, and the decision to continue always in [company]'s hands."

  • Phase 1: [delivery].
  • Phase 2: [delivery].
  • Phase 3: [delivery].
  • Closing meeting and handover.

Suggested terms: 30% deposit on acceptance, balance per completed phase. A change of scope becomes a revision of this proposal: same number, next version.

Monthly advisory

Suggested introduction: "Ongoing counsel: [N] working meetings per month, a direct channel for day-to-day decisions, and a quarterly course review."

  • [N] monthly working meetings.
  • Direct channel between meetings.
  • Quarterly review of goals and course.

Suggested terms: renews monthly; either side ends it with 30 days notice. Full payment on acceptance of each cycle.
